Sell Your Home with Google

Madison Real Estate Listing SEOThe number one internet search engine in the world is Google, and buyers use Google all of the time to search for a particular type of real estate. Think of the type of real estate that you own, and the search terms that buyers would "google" to find a home like yours on the internet.

For example, if you owned a home on lake Mendota, buyers would search on terms like "Lake Mendota home for sale" or "Madison lakefront home". If you lived in Madison's Ice Age Falls neighborhood, buyers would google terms like "Ice Age Falls home for sale" or "homes in Ice Age Falls". If you lived in the Capitol West Condominium development, buyers would search using terms like "capitol west condo for sale".

Using Key Words to Sell Your Home - An Example

The screen shot above provides a great example of how we use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to make our listings stand out on the internet. In this case the Google search term is "Shorewood Hills historic homes". When buyers google this term, they find a custom website about our historic home listing, a blog post about our historic home listing, and our profile page about Shorewood Hills real estate. All three pieces of content are at the top of the Google charts - page one!

What types of search terms will buyers use to find a home like yours on the internet? These are the terms that we will build into our online marketing. This is just one of many ways that we go the extra mile for our selling clients.
